Updated Energy Strategy Calls For Construction Of New Nuclear Power Plants

Japan’s government will aim to increase the use of nuclear power and build new nuclear reactors, dropping a decade-long policy of reducing dependence on the energy source and reversing curbs that were put in place following the 2011 Fukushima disaster.
