15 Jan (NucNet): French regulator ASN said in a statement today that a safety file submitted in April 2016 for the Cigéo deep geologic repository in northeastern France shows that the project is “technically mature”, although some areas of the plans will need additional work before a construction licence application is submitted in 2019.
