France’s Orano Gets €400 Million Investment Bank Loan For Uranium Enrichment Expansion Project

French nuclear fuel cycle company Orano and the European Investment Bank (EIB) have signed a €400m ($433bn) loan agreement intended to finance the project to extend the Georges Besse 2 uranium enrichment plant in Tricastin, southern France.
