SMR nuclear plant intended for installation underground
Finnish small modular reactor (SMR) startup Steady Energy has announced an early-stage regulatory milestone as the country’s radiation authority concluded that the company’s LDR-50 design concept can be developed to meet national nuclear safety requirements.
