Industry must deal with ‘heavy financial burden’ of upfront investment and waste management costs
Europe needs to address three key challenges related to political opposition, upfront financing and supply chain capabilities as it bids to kick-start an expansion of its nuclear energy sector, according to Christophe Schneidesch, a member of the High Scientific Council (HSC) of the Brussels-based European Nuclear Society (ENS).
