Uganda / African Country Signs Nuclear Cooperation Agreement With Russia

Russia and Uganda have signed an agreement to cooperate in nuclear energy, Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom said.The agreement was signed at the 63rd International Atomic Energy Agency general conference in Vienna and establishes the foundation for practical cooperation between the two counties including the creation of nuclear infrastructure, production of radioisotopes for industrial, healthcare, agricultural use, as well as education and training.
